I haven't taken very many photos in the pediatric unit, but here are a few shots of the kids. Most have a lot of energy and spend their first day running around the unit, kicking the soccer ball, coloring or playing with bubbles. After surgery they are a layed up for a few hours and then usually back to their play selves.
A few of the surgeries include: cleft lip/palate repairs, lypoma removals, hernia repairs, lazy eye repairs, removal or extra fingers/toes, and one of my patients had release of some scar tissue that was impairing movement in her hand with a skin graft.
